ABOUT ME
I’m Marlino Bitanga, a creative director, brand strategist, and culture builder who turns ideas into platforms, stories, and communities. For over two decades, I’ve worked at the intersection of creativity, digital strategy, and culture leading teams, building brands, and developing experiences that bring people together.
Today, I lead platform strategy and digital operations for MYX at ABS-CBN, where I helped grow MYX Radio from zero to 13.9 million monthly listeners and shaped content, partnerships, and programming across TV, radio, and live events. My background spans brand development, content production, marketing operations, and community-centered creative work.
Outside the corporate world, I build my own platforms. I founded Makeeta, a creative and cultural partnerships agency helping brands and creators connect with next-generation audiences through authentic storytelling and strategy. I also created Heavy Rotation, a music and culture platform spotlighting global Filipino talent. What started as a podcast has evolved into live events, interviews, cultural programming, and the Heavy Rotation Music Awards, a multi-day celebration of community and artistry.
Whether I’m developing a brand, advising an artist, producing an event, or creating content across travel, food, music, and culture, my approach stays consistent: strategic, cultural, visionary, and rooted in real human connection.
My work lives in multiple worlds — brand, tech, music, community, storytelling — but the mission is always the same:
build things that make people feel seen, inspired, and connected.
